Intune - Policy change for one user

I have a problem where I need to allow one extension on google chrome to one user using intune.

 

We block all extensions from installing in our default policy and then have the allowed list in there. My issue is this extension needs unblocking for this one particular user but not for others. Still can’t work out best way to do this.

Any ideas?

Create a new group.

Add user to group.

Set the default policy not to apply to new group

Clone default policy and add this one extension

Apply new policy to new group

Really didn't want to create a new policy for one user...... When the next request comes in for another user to be allowed access to a different app could end up with quite a few policies.
