Microsoft Edge - Make Google default search engine

Hi,

 

Using the (modern) Edge browser, and I want to configure it so that Google is the default search engine.

 

Besides potentially having the home page set as google.co.uk; I believe there are various places that have to be configured to make Google the default search provider.

 

Ideally want to configure via Intune, but looking online there appears to be different methods suggested.

 

Within Intune, I am presuming I'd have to set the following:

 

Default search provider name

Default search provider search URL

 

Just not certain as to what value/strings to use.

 

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Default search provider URL for suggestions Enabled 
Default search provider URL for suggestions {google:baseURL}complete/search?output=chrome&q={searchTerms}{google:baseURL}complete/search?output=chrome&q={searchTerms}

Enable the default search provider Enabled 
Parameters for an image URL that uses POST Enabled 
Parameters for an image URL that uses POST encoded_image={google:imageThumbnail},image_url={google:imageURL},sbisrc={google:imageSearchSource},original_width={google:imageOriginalWidth},original_height={google:imageOriginalHeight}

Specifies the search-by-image feature for the default search provider Enabled 
Specifies the search-by-image feature for the default search provider {google:baseURL}searchbyimage/upload{google:baseURL}searchbyimage/upload

 

Just as a note. I know there are shorter versions online, but we found some of them cause the Google captcha issue a lot more so always ended up using the long version but Thought worth noting
