steven_layton_sl Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 Hi guys We've been using MS Endpoint Manager as our MDM for iPads and iPhones for several months now, and it works well for us. However, the two most recently purchased iPads are not appearing in Endpoint Manager. We bought them through registered retailers, and ensured that we gave them our Apple Organisation ID, and added their Resellter number into Apple School Manager, as we have done in the past. However, unlike in the past, the devices have not appeared into Endpoint Manager, over the weeked. There are 74 devices showing in ASM, and only 72 in EPM. Does anyone know why this might be? What might have caused it? Have I forgotten to do something manually?
cullingsh Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 Has an ASM Administrator accepted the new Terms and conditions released last week? Behavior being experienced would potentially suggest not, according to https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203063
steven_layton_sl Posted April 4, 2022 Author Posted April 4, 2022 @cullingsh, thats a good possibility. I don't remmeber seeing a T&C prompt, but I guess I could have missed it, or miss clicked. Any notion on how to force it again?
RLR Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 They released new terms and conditions on the 1st of April. It should prompt you when you sign in. You can always check by going to Settings > Enrolment Information > Terms and Conditions > View History.
steven_layton_sl Posted April 4, 2022 Author Posted April 4, 2022 Wait....I'm an impatient idiot, I think. I got the iPads delivered late on Friday, and it took a while to get the codes of the resellers. I think it just took more time time for the Apple 'stuff' to put itself in place than I had time to keep resetting them before I went home, trying to get them to auto enrole on Friday night. I now remember that they only show up in EPM AFTER they have gone through the enerole process, and don't automatically appear there, even through they are showing in ASM. Sorry guys!
