Sorry to drag up a thread that was started a year ago (which itself may be relevant) but is anyone seeing the Eligibility Key Check screen when they open SIMS this morning?

 

All of our users are seeing it. I have reported it to our SSU and they say it is a known issue but haven't been clear if it's a known issue that started today and other schools are seeing it or if they just meant they have seen it before. I have asked for clarification but I thought someone on here could confirm if they are seeing this error for the first time today.

One of our Trust schools are reporting the issue. I've not seen anything here as yet.

We were getting this between 8:15 and 9:10 but it seems to be resolved now.

Dear SIMS/FMS Customer

 

We are aware of an issue that is affecting Eligibility Keys when schools logged into SIMS/FMS. We have worked on a fix for this issue, and we expect full resolution in place by 1pm today.

 

The Eligibility Key controls access within SIMS to CENSUS, and for FMS, the CFR menu. All other areas of SIMS and FMS are unaffected.

We had a school where we had to use this form to sort the key out and have a new one: https://esscustomerportal.co.uk/SIMSAEKeyRequest

I completed that yesterday and got a new key, I am still having the same issue where it isn't taking and the error message keeps appearing.

is https://licenses.sims.co.uk/ open on your webfiltering/firewall should be just port 443 needed. Other than that would be a support call to ESS.

The certificate for that site expires 26th December 2023. See you all again in this thread after Christmas when ESS forget to renew it.

What was the fix that was implemented on 31/10 at 1pm? Am I right in assuming it is working for everyone else now?
