Morning all,

Got a weird one thats crept in... All 5 of our C303 seem to have dropped 10 minutes off their server time, so wont connect to printing/scanning

I cant find how to set the time manually in the manual.... wierd thing is all our big multi functions on the same papercut server are fine...

Please help, virtual hob nobs and many thanks..

have called sharp but not got an answer yet

I can only find a manual online for MX-C303W MX-C304W (User's Manual - Sharp).

But in there it says:

SHARP_MX_C303W.JPG

EDIT: Do these have the function to get the time from your server (or outside NTP source)?

It's worth checking the SNTP settings under Network Setttings -> Services Settings and then SNTP (if it's the same webpage I'm thinking of, if not search for "NTP" or "SNTP")

See which server it's pointing at, it should be the same as the server that is hosting the printer, you can turn this off and set it manually but it's much better to have it enabled.

Thank you-- it took me forever to find that setting. particularly as it is behind the admin password.

Got really annoyed with the sharp service guy as he insisted it was not a Time thing!! Looks like we had a network loop that somehow only knocked a few things out--one of which was this model of printer.!

As ShellfishClive said set that I set mine as domain.tld and it will work providing DNS is set. Do it as a matter of course on all printers now where I can.
