Sophos Wi-Fi system feedback

Hi All,

 

We are looking to upgrade our Meru Wi-Fi system to the Sophos Wi-Fi system to integrate with Sophos central and firewall.

 

Can we ask if anyone has any experience with Sophos Wi-Fi system any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Had no idea Sophos did wireless...

 

Doing a bit of research, it doesn't look like they do there own wifi and they rebrand some Astaro kit?.. please fact check that - it was literally a 5 minute google!

 

If that is true, then my instant thoughts are look for a vendor where the kit is actually made themselves.. Ruckus, Meru, Ubiquiti etc.

 

It also looks like Sophos use a subscription model. Not a huge fan of them! But that is just me!

Like @MJTayloronline I'd go for one of the more established companies in the WiFi space. It looks like Sophos haven't yet released a WiFi6 AP which would be a non starter for me if I was looking to upgrade now.

Experience I've had in the a SOHO environment has been poor, I would go with the other more established companies, its rebranded for a start in one of their products they have bought out over the years.
