Hi,

 

I'm having issues with Windows PE drivers on my Acer Travel Mate, I can get every other driver to install other than the Intel RST drivers. The task sequence fails with an error because it cannot see any storage devices. When I use disk part there are no disks detected. However the laptop loads the preinstalled Windows fine. I have tried injecting every driver available from Acer, I tried the driver from Intel, I've tried extracting the drivers from the preinstalled OS on the laptop.

 

Any suggestions?

I found the cause, if you enter the BIOS and go the the main tab and press CRTL-S it will show a few hidden options, I needed to disable some intel storage management feature and this then made the hard drives visible.
