I'm wondering if anybody else has had the following issue with HP 250 G7 laptops, specifically gen10 intel models. At random times the keyboard and mousepad completely lock up and will not respond to input. The capslock light will not respond, staying lit or staying off. The system itself is still functioning fine I can plug an external keyboard and mouse in and work perfectly ok. A sleep/wake cycle or restart returns the system to normal operation.I first noticed this issue after imaging a number of these laptops with our master win10 ltsc 1809 image, which works fine on any other computer we have installed it on to whether that be a laptop or desktop. This would normally lead me to drivers or an issue with another piece of software installed as part of the image. However it has also happened on a clean media install of ltsc 1809, 20h1, and Windows 11, none of which had been updated before the issue occurred. It has also happened on a boot into Windows PE as part of wds deployment, which only has system and HDC drivers in the boot WIM. I have also gone down the bios flashing route and it occurrs on two different bios versions (includes most recent). I cannot reliably reproduce the fault which is frustrating and makes it much more difficult to diagnose. Im not convinced its a hardware fault as the keyboard and mousepad work fine until the point of lockup and after sleep/wake. I have ten of this model of laptop which according to the users were working fine until we started to reimage them, out of the 4 i have imaged so far they have all exhibited the issue.. They originally had win 10 pro 20h1 on them. We have had 30 of the 250G7 with older processors and none of them have done thisHas anyone else experienced this issue before or can suggest any other avenues i may not have thought of. Any advice is welcome!ThanksJames

Hi there, did you manage to resolve this fault? We have a handful of these in circulation for staff at school and some are now presenting the exact same issue you describe.
