IT Service Manager - Academy in Romford - to £35,000 + Private Health and Pension

Colwyn Technologies (part of the Flywheel IT Services Group of companies) are looking for a talented and motivated individual who has a real flair for technology and thrives on providing exemplary customer service to join an Academy in Romford as their IT Service Manager on a full-time basis.

 

The IT Service Manager is responsible for managing and supporting the IT services of the academy with a particular emphasis on customer service and building long term relationships.

 

Key accountabilities

 

• Relationship management. Identify, analyse, manage and monitor relationships with and between stakeholders. Clarify mutual needs and commitments through consultation and consideration of impacts.

• Ownership and initiative. Take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical problems, ensuring that technical solutions continue to meet business requirements. • Service focus. Maintain focus on the whole life of service delivery: from designing to developing to delivering and operating. Ensure that a set of IT products, suppliers and vendors come together to deliver an IT service.

• Line Management. Supporting, mentoring and coaching two team members, focussing on their needs to grow and develop into the next generation of service managers.

 

Key challenges

 

• Maintain a close view of service incidents, their impacts on BAU activities.

• Accurately document and record IT services to support our remote team.

• Be responsive to requests for support whilst delivering against agreed SLA’s and objectives.
