enjay Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Does anyone know of a way to disable the junk filter for individual mailboxes? We have a few accounts where messages are transferred elsewhere via POP3 (our own IT Helpdesk, for example) and these miss emails which get filtered as junk. I understand the additional risk of this, and relevant staff will be advised accordingly.

The reason I don't want to repeat that set-up is it generates an alert for all O365 admins any time the rule is triggered. One of the accounts we want to do this for is the main office@ email, and that receives a "junk" message every few minutes.
enjay Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 Thinking about it @Oaktech you're right, we can do that. Our LA emails don't go to spam folders, they get pulled a level before that and quarantined before they even hit the users' inboxes (!), and that's why we get an alert. The rule you suggest would stop the emails ending up in junk but wouldn't nag my team about them. 1

I hadn't got round to replying, but yes, you should be able to slip that transport rule in before anything that notifies.
enjay Posted February 3, 2022 Author Posted February 3, 2022 (edited) @Oaktech Your rule suggestion is working a treat for disabling the junk folders for specific users, so thanks. It doesn't solve my issue with LA emails, but that's another topic! It's literally another topic - this one in fact http://www.edugeek.net/forums/security/177589-phishing-spam-emails-168.html#post1938932 Edited February 3, 2022 by enjay
