Hi all, I wondered if anyone knows the best way I can roll this R;pple Suicide Prevention (ripplesuicideprevention.com) Microsoft Edge Extension out so that it goes on all the laptops/computers in the school. The idea is that if a user was to search for any of the Suicide keywords that it re-directs you to another page offering help.

Is it even something that I can roll out via GPO on a Windows 2012 Standard server?

Thanks in advance as always.

I know with Chromium Edge you can force install extensions silently.

  1. In the Group Policy Editor, go to Administrative Templates> Microsoft Edge > Extensions > and then select Control which extensions are installed silently.
  2. Select Enabled.
  3. Click Show.
  4. Enter the app ID or IDs of the extension or extensions you want to force-install.

As a caveat there is no way to force this to stay on in inprivate/incognito browsing but you can get users to manually turn this on or block inprivate completely.
