Badaz52 Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Hi everyone, We are an office 365 school but some of our users still prefer to use the outlook 2019 client. The client seems to work fine except for when users are trying to view an encrypted email. The email opens when they click on it but very often it causes the client to hang. This is any email that has the no entry type sign next to it. Like I say they open but take ages. I've told the users to just use the web version but they don't want to....

Oh well, it appears as though they are working on a new outlook client to combine the mail and outlook apps which might launch this year called "one outlook". It says it will be based on the web app so I'm guessing it will keep things more streamlined. I imagine the issue at the moment is every time they make a change to O365 services they have to push out an update to clients too or not as appears to be the case with this encrypted email problem. 1
nadeem Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 If you an Office365 place - why not use the Outlook 365 client instead of Outlook 2019 - that may solve the issue
