Can someone recommend me a simple video editing app for our Chromebooks

Just wondering if anyone can recommend me a simple video editing software for a primary school (KS2), that uses Chromebooks.

EDIT - I would prefer an app from the Android play store if possible.

Kinemaster is good but you would have a watermark on it and of course adverts which might not be 100% suitable for school =/

Have you looked at Canva? Free Premium account with a school email and has a simple video editing feature.

WeVideo would be my recommendation. We used it for a while and people liked it.

Just wondering, did you use free or paid accounts? I notice the maximum export resolution is 480p which is pretty rubbish. I guess fine for KS2 if not intending to share projects on social media/website etc.

Will probably give this a miss due to the adverts.

These both seem to be website based. I assume we would need to get our data officer involved, due to pupil images potentially leaving the school systems. I'll look at these if nobody can suggest an Android based app for the Chromebooks.

Just had an email from them today pointing out they have a snazzy new "WeVideo Classroom" version coming out this week. Not quite sure what the extra features are, but sounds like it could be useful.

We paid for it at one school where they wanted it.

Turns out our cheap Chromebooks probably don't support video apps from the play store. I'll take a look at the online ones mentioned above.
