Square Interactive Board

Hello,

 

I have an old square interactive board in our ICT Suite, and have recently got a new 11" laptop to plug into it, but I have noticed it's not using the whole screen, it seems to be doing widescreen.

 

Can anyone think of a solution?

 

I have tried all the display resolutions but none are working!

it's the projector not the board, pick 1024x768 for a square 4:3 ratio. Then see if the projector has a ratio or aspect button.

If you're mirroring the screen from a 16:9 ratio laptop screen, you won't get a 4:3 image without distortion. Your options are:

 

- Distort the image (a poor idea)

- Widescreen image on 4:3 screen (what we do)

- Extend the screen to the board rather than mirror, keeping a 4:3 ratio

- Replace the board with a 16:9 one
