Promethean Colour Depth

Not sure if I'm missing something here, I'm using ActivStudio in anger for the first time, and it seems that if I paste in or import (via the resource library) photographs, the colour depth is dropping to 16bit, and making my nice sharp images look a bit rubbish.

 

Is there a setting that I've overlooked, or is this just a limitation of the Promethean kit?

We have these settings in the software, they might help. If they don't then try posting a picture showing what's happening, or try out support team.

When you start it up you get a pop saying that it runs best in 16 bit colour.

That's what I'm seeing Ben, but it seems to force 16 bit colour on you, no "you can run it in 32-bit if you want, but it might not perform too well, we did warn you" option.
