[ms office - 2016] Upgrading

As Microsoft are plugging the plug on Office 365 services on Office 2016, how do we upgrade? We have tried a manual update but had no success. We are getting security updates.

 

Our current version is 16.0.4266.1001

Office 365 full fat apps are licenced differently from Office 2016 2019 and 2021 so require a fresh install rather than upgrade

Office 2016 doesn't EOS for office 365 until 2023?

You just have to make sure they're updated.

That's the issue we have. We cannot update to 4599.

My stuff has just continually upgraded via WSUS?

I've just looked at my update history and my machine shows that an office update in April last year pushed the file version number of outlook.exe past 4599
