Deputy Head of IT

 

Salary: Circa £50,000 dependent on the skills and experience of the successful

candidate

Hours: Full time

Contract: Permanent

 

Emanuel School are seeking a Deputy Head of IT who can play a key role supporting the Head of IT & Compliance in overseeing the day-to-day management of the school’s IT provision.

 

They will be joining Emanuel School at an exciting time in the development of its digital provision, leading on driving forward the technical implementation and use of Microsoft services with a whole school solution of Microsoft Teams and OneNote Class Notebooks for teaching, as well as SharePoint for document management.

 

They will work with other members of the IT team to provide a safe and secure online environment for its pupils and staff, ensuring that appropriate security policies are implemented, and that e-safety and cyber-security are at the forefront of every decision.

 

The Deputy Head of IT will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day work of the Systems Administrator, with the opportunity for additional management responsibilities as they become established in the role.

 

The successful candidate will have proven experience working in an education environment or similar support driven position and understand the diverse and wide range of tasks that are involved with supporting teaching staff, administrative staff and pupils.

 

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and VEEAM is also essential and experience with cyber-security is equally important.
