We keep getting an SSL error when initialising Dedfold. I inserted a pic of the error below. We have smoothwall firewall (transparent proxy) and filtering and we're the enterprise version of Windows Defender through MECM. There also doesn't seem to be any pattern in when or where the error occurs, for instance the software will work for half the students in a suite but not the other half.

Things we've tried that haven't shown any improvement:

- Runing the software locally and over the network fom an aplication server

- logging in with student, staff and admin credentails.

- conecting via 4G to bypass smoothwall

- trurning of windows defender / any local firwal & anti-virus

Any thought or ideas to resolve or futher trouble-shoot are much appreciated.

Just fixed the same issue. Had to create a new group in smoothwall to allow GitHub.com and d.defold.com as these urls are used for templates.

Hi, sorry to resurrect a thread, but when you say "Allow" do you mean "Exclude from inspection"? When I add this to a category that says "Allow URL" it still doesn't work. It's like the entire program is not happy with the Smoothwall certificate chain.

I'm a bit concerned about excluding github.com from inspection.
