Arduino Editor on a school network

Hello world,

 

The Tech department have ordered a bunch of Chinese branded Ardunio boards (yay...). We've installed the Arduino agent which essentially does the 'handshake' between the board and editor. We're using the web editor version.

 

When we plug the board in, the COM port is detected and am able to choose the right board (Arduino Uno). When we go to upload the script (one of the example scripts on the editor) it starts to upload but just gets stuck.

 

I've contacted their support but they've been useless and their forums are just as good. Has anyone had any experience of these or know any URLs I could pass through our Smoothwall!
