Radius - Aruba Central

Hi, has anyone managed to get Radius working consistently with Aruba?

 

I have configured the virtual controller, added the radius server ..

 

It works o until i plug another AP in then nothing with connect.

 

I have confirmed dynamic Radius is enabled too. I am missing something evidently.

 

Any help would be brilliant.

What APs are you using?

Most of the time the AP needs to be registered in the Radius server as a NAS device, the only times it does not is if you are actually using a wireless system where the controllers are doing all the work (High end Aruba not the InstantOn or standalone Instant APs) and not simply a management tool such as Unifi.

Is the config for the AP consistent with the other AP?

 

I'm assuming the network port is setup or is the same network port as the working AP

Mixed estate of 515 and 535. everything cnfgured as far as I can see and the ports are in the correct vlabs..

NPS setup on FRS.

Radius client set to the IP of the VC in NPS.

Authentication/accounting set on VC to point to FRS.

Policy set up the same way as our previous Wireless controller, not Aruba but Cisco.

Our system works perfectly well now. I missed a 'tick in a box' We are Aruba.
