[bromcom] Importing KS2 Statutory Assessment

Hi all,

 

More of a question on process than specifically Bromcom I think.

 

One of our primary schools has requested our support in entering statutory information on to Bromcom and I am struggling to get my head around where to start. There does not seem to be a quick and easy way to do this on Bromcom so I am starting to think I am going about it wrong and they are imported not entered.

 

Can anyone help on the below

 

• How do primary schools typically get statutory information (I am thinking particularly of End of KS1, End of KS2 and Phonics - but possibly others)? Are tests conducted in-house (and therefore results DO have to be entered manually)? Or are these national tests and therefore results get given to the school by the examining board (similar to GCSE's within secondary).
  
• If the schools are provided with results, I am guessing they can access a CTF for import from somewhere - which makes sense! Where can I get this from?
  
• If entered manually what have people found the easiest way? I have found the 'View/Amend Assessment Data' page - with the help of Bromcom Support - but that seems rather complicated and time consuming.

Modules > Assessment > Assessment Sheets List. Set Marksheet Type to Statutory Assessment and you may also have to set User Access to Admin. If no sheets are shown you will have to change the Active On day to a date in the 20/21 academic year.

Will this years sheets just appear in their at some point then? When do they get generated?
