[isams] Register not giving options to mark some students in

We have 4 or 5 tutor groups out of 30 where iSams doesn't show the 'yes' 'no' or 'late' option next to a few of the students. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to who the affected students are.

 

I've attached a screenshot, so you can see all the students in the tutor group are listed, but 3 of them don't have any buttons to click and mark them in or absent. Clicking 'mark all present' just marks in the ones with the 'yes' 'no' 'late'

 

Any ideas what may be causing this? We logged it with iSams but they escalated it to someone on a bank holiday break so are still waiting for them to start looking into it.

That usually means they are not part of a class that is set to be registered. So the pupil is not part of a set (in Teaching Manager) or the set those pupils are in is not part of a registration rule (in Registration).

 

EDIT: If they are in the right class but were added today, run the registration data procedures in the Registration Module. Registers are not live but get created overnight with the current pupil lists.

EDIT AGAIN: Also check the pupil data, that there is no end date set and that their starting date is in the past.
