HP 5406ZL Older Firmware

I have Inherited a network which is running an HP 5406ZL Core switch on firmware version K.13.63, ROM K.12.12

On the HP site I can only find the latest downloads but the release notes say the ROM needs to be on a higher version.

Does anyone have or know where I can find links to older versions of the firmware so that I can do the upgrade in the correct stages to get to the latest version?

That what you're after? Looks like the bootrom version you need are near the bottom.

 

Handy tip, replace the J8699A with any HP model number to find the firmware for any HP device.

thank you for sharing this but now it become very old page and not having the Ver: K.12.31 so is there any chance any one still have it please?

i need it badly and cant find it in any websites.

HP/Aruba changed the access to downloading firmware. You now have to use the ASP (Aruba Support Portal). Once on there you should be able to find the firmware. Edited August 12, 2022 by Davit2005

Search by the product number which I think is J8697A then filter by Software in the File Category. But check on the switch either physically or by running show tech buffers and the product number should be at the top of the output. You can stop the output quite quickly and still see it.

Your right it does not seem to be on there either by searching via the product or the firmware version. You might need to speak to HP.
