Papercut & Universal Print

I'm currently looking into setting up Universal Print and Papercut. I've ran into a couple issues.

 

The first is I setup the Azure AD integration with Papercut yesterday, but every time i log it's still asking me to consent for the Org. I followed their guide and can't see why! I've emailed our support yesterday but not heard anything back!

 

The second bit is when i go to the Universal Print table in Enable Printing it says

 

The PaperCut connector for Microsoft Universal Print service is unavailable, please ensure that the service is running, and the authorization has been set up correctly. We have created an article to help you get started with PaperCut connector and Universal Print.

 

I checked the server and the service is running, and we're running 21.0.4 so shouldn't need the additional download.

 

Any ideas?

Can’t say we have had this exact issue but we had a few bumps along the road in getting this setup. In the end we were using Azure AD with Secure LDAP and it was getting a bit confused even then.. had to deploy and remove the printers a few times before it actually worked

 

When we did get it to work we then find out that the universal print limits how many copies you can do based on your license!

 

So in the end 20 prints a month per user was a no go for us and had to abandon it all.

are you paying for Secure LDAP? how did you get this working?
