Hi,

 

We are looking at introducing Wonde so we can SSO onto a lot of applications the school uses, we have been looking at their SSO product but already have a populated GSuite using GADS, does anyone have experience of adding in Wonde SSO and running GADS to sync Google Edu passwords with AD, what i don't want to do is have staff using a separate password for GSuite, simply be able to get into Wonde via GSuite.

 

They have redirected me with regards to licenses etc to resellers who say they are Google specialists but replied with not sure what GADS is so i'm not really trusting when they say yes we can still use AD passwords with Wonde.

 

Any advice from people who may have this already setup would be appreciated.

So I assume you're using GADs and password sync?

In theory, Wonde should work just fine for SSO only, as it's literally going to match up Workspace accounts with third parties, whilst GADS and Password Sync do the user creation and password management side.

From my understanding, Wonde SSO takes over entirely. It handles sign on entirely, so handles the password part of signing in. You effectively end up signing in to Google with Wonde, rather than Wonde with Google.
