Teams - Insights App - Education Insights Premium is not enabled Yet

Hi there

 

We have been using Teams and Insights for months on both class and "Your school" level and its been working fine. A couple of weeks ago notice appeared about trial and then this week the "Your school" side came up with the message

"Education Insights Premium is not enabled yet"

 

No settings had been changed.

 

Since the slider has been set to disabled and re-enabled. Its still the same. (https://sds.microsoft.com/Home/Settings)

 

The link "To continue setup and monitoring navigate to SDS for Insights" has been clicked and there was not data flow setup, tried creating one but we dont use SDS we use Locker to sync and create teams, Any one else use Locker and Insights that can tell me what they have set or if this part isn't required?

Announcing the launch of SDS for Insights to support Education Insights Premium!

 

We are pleased to announce the availability of Education Insights Premium preview for SDS customers, which will enable a richer education insights and analytics experience. In support of Education Insights Premium, we have added a new SDS feature, SDS for Insights, to facilitate SDS customers' ability to sync their organizational data with the preview version of Education Insights Premium. The free trial will be available until October 2021. Learn more about Education Insights Premium.

 

Customers will be able to link user activity with user metadata, roles, classes, and organizational hierarchy to drive deeper insights, providing leaders with increasingly valuable analytics information.

 

For new Education Insights Premium customers, SDS provides a new user interface, SDS for Insights, that allows them to easily enable SDS as a source, configure their current academic year, and create a new incoming flow. For existing Sync to Insights TAP customers, they will now use the new SDS for Insights onboarding and monitoring experience, as we are ending the Sync to Insights TAP program. The SDS for Insights monitoring experience includes Data Health, which highlights calls to action for any errors or warnings with customer data.

Unfortunately it's moving to an additional subscription - even beyond Microsoft 365 A3 or A5 from what I found out:

"Education Insights Premium is currently available as a private preview in a few districts and institutions. Starting this July 2021, it will be available for purchase. More details will be provided soon, but please contact your IT admin to contact their Microsoft account manager for more information. The free trial will be available until October 2021."

We used to have it working, but now we get:

Yep thats the same as i get now.

I've found you can go to: https://sds.microsoft.com/insights#/ to "turn it on"

Do you SDS? as we don't and use locker so when I've looked it seems to need to create a flow and the only options are SDS as other is greyed out.
