Morning all,

I'm currently trying (and failing) to get mBlock v5.3.0 installing silently and for all users on my Win10 laptop. The goal is to get it deployed through SCCM - has anyone been able to get this working?

Cheers in advance!

What install program are you using? (MSI/EXE) Have you found the silent install switch?

The installer is an exe, and no luck finding the silent switch yet - I've tried the "/?" switch to see if it would list the suitable switches but with no luck, also tried "/silent" "/q" "/qn" but none of those seem to work either.

Cheers.

Brilliant, that has mostly worked for the silent install part. Wish I had this tool for some of the SCCM deployments I've done in the past!

Any thoughts on bodge-ing it to install for the computer rather than for the current user? I'm currently testing the dirty method of just copying all of the files out of AppData and into Program Files to see if it will still run, but it's not particularly happy at the moment.

What happens if you install as a startup script? Running in the SYSTEM context rather than user might force it to All Users.

The problem for Windows at least is the driver bit of the install. The EXE will install silently with /S, but then the driver bit comes up (and presumably has to be installed for it to talk to the device via USB). This is testing with v.5.4.0.
