Video Annotation Software

Afternoon all

 

After putting more and more interactive panels around school, one of the PE staff has asked can he start annotating videos - a bit like how sky sports football pundits review match footage.

 

Can anyone recommend any platforms or packages that can do this?

Might not be exactly what he was aiming for, but might Flipgrid be appropriate?

I haven’t tried this, but if they’re inserted into Powerpoint can the pen tools be used over the video?

Thanks for the suggestions! PowerPoint worked better than I expected! (why didn't I think of that first)

 

I ended up trialing the free version of: https://metrica-sports.com/ the full version is eye wateringly expensive, so the limited, free version it is for now

 

Edit: I also used Kinovea: https://www.kinovea.org/ which is truly awesome for a free application

Kinovea is very good I have used it for archery coaching, a couple of other pieces Dartfish and if you want something portable coaches eye both are paid for software but very good when we used them.
