Hello,

 

Does anyone know a free way of getting the "Activate Windows" message to go away on Windows 10 Version 20H2. I had a valid license for Windows 10 Professional and decided to test out 21H1 (Dev build) and then when I downgraded again my license was gone.

If you ever logged into a microsoft account on the previous install, try logging in again - it can sometimes move around with the account!

Thanks for your reply, I fixed it via using a KMS key however I haven't logged into any microsoft accounts on my PC anyways as I prefer local accounts.
