TwistedHelixis Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Our external firewall is controlled by our LA but just to add an extra layer I have decided to enable the local client firewalls using GPO. The client firewalls will not be crazy locked down but just a barier should someone get access to one laptop in the school. Before I turn on the firewall, do I need to allow Teams through the firewall? If so do I just allow the following as an outgoing rule? Ports UDP ports 3478 through 3481IP addresses 13.107.64.0/18, 52.112.0.0/14, and 52.120.0.0/14

I've known occasionally the local firewall to block ping once or twice. Also maybe locking down the servers which can be done via GPO would be quite ideal.
