Wasn't sure which forum to put this in, but this one seemed fairly relevant;

 

We have been told by a couple of people (who are not experts in these things) that we shouldn't have someone in the same room as the large repro MFD due to the ozone it chucks out, one says he can actually feel it on his lungs. I can't find a definitive "rooms should be this big", "rooms should be vented by this methoed" or other helpful things, and there is nothing in the bumpf that the manufacturer have sent through to back this up. Does anyone know, and if so, where can I find the evidence so that I can present it please?

Always the way!! I've now found it of course.....

 

Ozone Release

This printer produces ozone during normal operation. The amount of ozone produced is dependent on

copy volume. Ozone is heavier than air and is not produced in amounts large enough to harm anyone.

Install the printer in a well-ventilated room.

Ozone and toner dust - we just make sure they're well vented. Our little copier area with no windows had a wall fan fitted.
