paulkerton Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Hi all. I'm trying to find good value/low cost DMARC analysis software. We're just getting going with setting up DMARC/SPF/DKIM due to - well - it was before my time. Anyway, does anyone use any service they could recommend at the moment, or have a way to parse the XML files locally rather than a web based solution?
IT_JB Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Not software but I use the free PostMark weekly analytics email service. https://dmarc.postmarkapp.com/ Gives you a nice summary of the pass/fail figures and the sources for all sent/forwarded email.

Have you seen MailCheck from the NCSC? https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/blog-post/helping-secure-public-sector-email-mail-check 2

fiza Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 No I hadn't. Thank you, this is the kind of thing I have been looking for. I assume schools are good for it? Yes. When you register and login for the first time you have to send them a separate email for them to activate your account.
free780 Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 You may also get a bit of help with mail check from the NCSC.
paulkerton Posted April 21, 2021 Author Posted April 21, 2021 Fantastic. Thank you all. Signed up an account and have emailed!

GrumbleDook Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 the dns service isnt accessable by schools but everything else is It depends on who manages your DNS. Don't be scared to ask them about it. The Early Warning system is also very handy, if folk have not seen that.

However they did say that NCSC and Nominet do have a strategy in place to extend the benefits of PDNS to education without organisations having to sign up individually. At this time I cannot say when this will be, but as mentioned we will keep a record of your interest on file and notify you when this changes. 1
