We have had quite a few staff members sending emails to the wrong recipient outside of the organization. Is it possible to setup a prompt every time a user is sending an email to an external source? I have already setup the mailtips notification but this is only a very small notification and is easily missed. I was hoping for a large popup box with asking the user to confirm the recipients of the email are who they intended.

Thanks

Ben

Not via 365 itself no - sorry this is one of those times where the mailtip and user education needs to be pushed a little more. I believe it's possible with onsite exchange/hybrid systems, but you don't want to be running one of those this day and age!

you could require people put [ext] or similar in teh subject line and have a transport rule to NDR it if mail goes external without it? people would hate it, but would achieve your goal.
