[ms office - 2011 (mac)] MS Word Documents, Crashing MS Word.

I have been asked by the Business manager to help her open a Covid19 Risk Assessment Document. For some reason the Covid 19 Risk Assessment document created by the local authority either crashed on MS Word version 16.46 on OSX 10.15.6 or opens with no problem on MS Word version 16.43 on OSX 10.13.6. The document contains a Table Of Contents and two different page layouts one portrait the other landscape.

If you open the document in Pages it opens fine no problem. Anyone have any ideas or solutions?
