Has Anyone used Portus AIOs?

Hi Guys,

I was looking at Portus desktop AIOs, they look good and seem reasonably priced for an AIO (which makes me wonder if they're cheeping out on the screens or something).

So has anyone got or used one before and could tell me what they think of it?

Can't see much info about them.

 

They appear to share a premises with a digital camera sales place and show no company info, so it's likely they're a side brand of the camera retail setup.

 

I can't see these being built in-house, more likely they've got an agreement to put their brand on a generic chassis.

However, the AIOs largely review well, the caveat being that these are all consumer reviews. How they do on a network is still a mystery

I'd be interested to see the warranty and exactly how that'd work with what appears to be a limited in house resource. Prices online don't look to dissimilar to ours! As Dave says above, don't know too much about them myself.

Both portus and the camera business (HDEW cameras) are trading names of Validhirst limited.

 

Can't find this on the portus site, but the Terms and conditions page of the camera brand is interesting...

Looks like they're importing grey market kit and making customers agree that the company is acting on their behalf.

Interesting way of doing things.
