Does anyone have experience of the Dynabook Tablet - ET10-G-105 available through D of E? Not sure whether to go for Dell Netbooks or these?

So far we're having a bit of an issue with both the dell netbooks and the dynabook tablets. I can't find any information on the tablets on the dynabook website and have 1 tablet out of 10 that will not power on right now. Can't find any support on how to do a hard reset. If anyone knows please let me know.

The dell netbooks will not boot off of PXE so imaging is becoming a nightmare. We have resorted to booting litetouch off an USB stick using a USB network adapter on these as they have no onboard ethernet.

dynabooks have usbc that offer dp alt mode and charging which the dell does not. The dynabooks also have m.2 sata not mmc storage which makes them way better. (upgradable and faster)

so that 2 reasons to get the dynabooks.

That is not true, we have the Dell,s and they PXE boot fine with “Network Stack” enabled in BIOS and the official Dell USB A network card that is designed to PXE boot them.

@LeMarchand who setup the compucenter stuff for you. I got an excel document with all my laptops local password and bios paswords emailed to me. but I have no remote monitoring tools.

Who knows? The HPs seem to have been registered to the local Social services. May have the BIOS part sorted, which is the main thing.

So... anyone done anything with these yet?

I can get them to PXE boot, but MDT eventually claims "no network device" - I have tried the "only include the relevant network driver" trick. Tried installing from my W10 USB - x32 is apparently "corrupt" (works on other machines but no spare drives handy to try a new one) and x64, after a clean-up, leaves a whole 2GB spare.

Tempted to leave them "as is" and hope that they default to our own filter in September...
