SIMS > Wonde > Google Classroom issue

HI All,

 

First time here! Our school uses SIMS, Wonde & Google Classroom which all works fine. Problem is we want Google Classroom (or Google Drive) for our Governors. We've created their account, but when they try to log in, it pushes them to the Wonde login - which they don't have.

 

They don't have Wonde because it's created via SIMS - and Governors are not on SIMS.

 

Anyone had a similar issue or thoughts on how to allow manual sign on to Google Classroom if your using Wonde to integrate?

Ask HR to add governors on Sims?

If that doesn't pull them over, assign them to a dummy class as supervisors

Just have a dedicated OU for governors outside of the OUs that Wonde has anything to do with. Also, Wonde should not be messing with manually created users at all.

If you have SSO enabled on G Suite that applies to everything apart from admin accounts. Including manually created users.

Does not have to. You can apply different policies to different OUs. We use Wonde on a G Suite setup with 24 schools and have many 100's of governor accounts. Having said that we don't use Wonde for any for of SSO - just syncing users from the MISs to Google. We do use SSO for QR code logins to Chromebooks at primaries - but those policies are applied to Device OUs so Chromebooks can use QR code logins at primaries - but it only applies to devices with the SSO settings deployed.
