Erm.. I think the OP said 4 and 7! Common Sense media says 12+ https://www.commonsensemedia.org/movie-reviews/little-shop-of-horrors. Edward Scissorhands is rated 13+ by them, but I wouldn't be suggesting that just yet

I just checked my recommendations there. Maybe we shouldn't have shown Kubo to a 2 year old. He didn't seem to be scarred by it, though.

OK, so we watched How to Train your dragon. From a parents point of view generally I thought it was good, but I did think it was a little scary for my 4 year old in parts. But he said he wasn't scared and wanted to carry on and watch it and more importantly didn't have any nightmares

 

We had hotdogs, juice and some sweets and turned off all the lights. I even played some trailers from youtube and cast them to the TV to give them the feel of the cinema. They also looked at the next film they wanted to watch and seemed to really enjoy it.

 

To be honest I really enjoyed it too....never seen the film before
