Smoothwall and Google Classroom

Hi all,

 

Anyone know how to setup the filtering on a Smoothwall UTM to allow Google Classroom to work in a school ?

Add classroom.google.com to a do not inspect policy in Guardian - https inspection - manage policies. That should be the only thing getting in the way.

Thanks Guys for the replies.

 

From further info I have had. I think the main issue is that Google Meet keeps coming up with Network Error. However, the likes of Zoom or Teams works fine. This is using Windows laptops.

 

I assume this is a Smoothwall issue.

There is a Google Meet category as well now in IT and technical. Add that to HTTPS inspection exceptions.
