DNS server IP configuration for DNS Servers

Please could someone confirm what the recommended "Preferred and Alternate DNS server" IP configuration should be for our DNS servers (also Domain controllers) - I currently have them to point to the IP address of themselves and the secondary DNS server)

 

We're having a few black screens upon logon (for desktop wallpaper redirection) I'm thinking I might have this set incorrectly

That's how I set it, then typically Google DNS acting as forwarders.

 

Themselves can either be the actual IP or 127.0.0.1, then a secondary server IP.

Is the desktop wallpaper on a remote share?

 

If yes, modify the GPO to copy the image to the local computer and apply the wallpaper from the local disk.
