Hello,

Trying to replace the wildcard cert on our Exchange Server. and I'm getting a "a certificate with the thumbprint already exists when trying to bring the cert back in. "

I havent done a cert for a little while, What am i doing wrong?

Thanks

Havent got a clue about using powershell.

Its showing thr cert in mmc but not in exchange or IIS. I got the pending one looking for a cer file.

Am I better off removing the expired wildcard and importing the new one?

You can remove the expired cert in MMC (I’ve had to do that before when I couldn’t remove the old one). The beauty of assigning the certs with Powershell is that you can apply them to all of the protocols you need, including your send connector, then check them against the certs in ECP. ECP can be limited at doing this, and can show multiple certs applied with no way to remove the old.
