Where to buy refurb ipads?

Our Primary School are looking for refurb ipads. Anyone recommend a decent place that does refurbs for education? I looked on ICT Direct but their Apple section shows "under construction" @ICTDirect_Dave do you have any?

What should be the minimum model I should be looking at? They want to be able to run apps for Google Classroom, Education City, Lexia and Rockstar Times Tables.

I'm afraid I don't.

 

I can offer the full range of new apple kit with educational rates. But refurb iPads are relatively rare beasts.

The problem being that most people expect to get retail prices when selling them in bulk and then send over a load of battered devices with icloud lock and smashed screens!

Sorry to jump onboard, Im from a primary school and we are looking for 60 ipads, not sure if to go down refurbs or lease as the current ipads are ipad mini 2s and are more a less a brick, very slow and under performing.

Apple have their own refurb store (https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/refurbished/ipad) but stock is a real crapshoot.

We're in the process of sending a lot of our old iPad Air 1s and Air 2s back to Academia. We're going through each one before hand to make sure they are wiped and don't have activation lock on them. I don't know what their plan with them is but you can check to see if academia sell refurbed iPads.
