Exchange Server Log Files

our exchange server is 2013 and is eating disk space

 

within this location C:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles i have 2 folders W3SVC1 and W3SVC2

 

am i ok to delete the log files as both folders contain the same file expect the W3SVC2 folder size is 19.5GB

i have never found issues doing it on our adfsproxy server or our rd gateway, so im guessing no difference for exchange as its IIS

I think those are basically IIS logs. I have a scheduled task on myExchange 2016 box which deletes all but the last three days of logs - would have broken many times over without it (and I have most logs redirected to a separate volume too). You can also compress some logs/old files in Exchange if you're worried about deleting them.

As mentioned above, safe to remove.. I have done with all the versions of exchange 10/13.
