Hi, I use endpoint for ipads and some android devices but want to start looking at adding in Windows 10 devices.

I have changed enrollment settings to block windows as an enrollment restriction to all users because i had a massive list of personal student devices that they had added.

I was working on the basis that to enroll a device for Endpoint management you could join using the accounts i have set in device enrollment managers sections.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to what i'm doing wrong.

I have 10 intune licenses for my test. I want to add in win 10 devices to manage them rather than using the domain. I don't want users to be able to enroll themselves so i can control the devices in Endpoint.

I think if I can get the process of adding in the device i will be ok with the rest as its basically the same to the management of the Ipads and android tablets we have

If they are school owned devices (they sound like they are) look into getting them enrolled via autopilot and the powershell script here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/autopilot/enrollment-autopilot

It's then a case of entering the credentials of your enrollment account to get it joined to AAD/intune and away you go...

Edit - would help if I added the bits about blocking personal device enrollment

Thanks for this i was struggling to find the details!

I'll give it a go and see how it goes. If I can find a good way of adding in the devices to Endpoint then i think I can figure out the rest.
