Our PTFA want to run a quiz night, and are suggesting Zoom (but more because they know it than because they think it is the right tool). Have any of you done similar in your schools and if so, what did you use, how did it go, what should we consider, etc?

As a tool for setting / answering quiz questions, Kahoot is quite good:

It does require you to have both Kahoot open in a browser window and whatever video conferencing solution you're using, which does seem to confuse some people - often people seem to wind up using a separate device for each application.

We've been doing pub quizzes on menti, with Teams as a chatroom for inter-team banter and "control". Worked well.

That looks promising. I was wondering about going down the self-marking Google Form idea, but Menti seems cleaner. Does that allow for rounds, or do all the questions come together?

Pretty sure you can set up rounds, with scores inbetween. I wasn't running it so can't comment on how easy it is to set up, I was just winning it! :)

Was this a school thing or someone else? If school, would whoever set it up mind talking to one of our governors about it?
