Disney+ possibly blacklisting us

I wonder if a circumstance like that @DalekSec, could you segregate that part of the network so it had its own public IP - so you could liaise with DisneyPlus saying "this is only used for living area, not public, this other IP is our school classrooms"?

 

I suspect it would work for a short period, until that IP gets blocked. From the previous correspondence with Disney in this thread I suspect getting them to engage would be a challenge.

 

I'd be interested to know if hotels have the same problem, my guess is they just block any IP that is seen with more traffic than X.

We seems to be having this issue today

 

It seems to be limiting the number of streams that can originate from our site. Some users are fine others not so lucky.

That's similar wording to the copyright notice, where "non-commercial" doesn't prevent educational use in class. Disney+ go that bit further though, and their wording does specifically prevent any use in schools. I wonder if that was their intention.

Absolutely it was, else it wouldn't be there 4 years since it launched in the UK.
