Hi All,

For some reason, every time a user goes to google, they need to accept the agreement. This even happens if they remain logged on, close the browser and re-open it. Happens in Chrome and Edge (the Chrome one). Any thoughts please?

Slightly OT but still relevant.

Using mandatory profiles, how would I stop the agreement message appearing each time a user opens google? Is there a GP setting I can use to agree on their behalf?

I think i've found the fix.

In group policy go to either Computer or User config (for me i've set this under user) > Policies > Admin Templates > Google > Google Chrome > Content Settings > Block Cookies on these sites:

google.co.uk

consent.google.co.uk

https://www. google. co.uk (broken up as it auto creates the link)

google.com

accounts.google.com

youtube.com

consent.youtube.com

doubeclick.net

www. youtube. com (broken up as it auto creates the link)

Still got an issue with the youtube one which says "Sign in to Youtube" - but we don't want to sign in to youtube!!

Blocking Cookies for Google prevents access to Gmail - as i found out this morning.

By Blocking the above Cookies, this is what you get when you try to log in to your email account on Google:

An update to this:

In group policy go to either Computer or User config (for me i've set this under user) > Policies > Admin Templates > Google > Google Chrome > Content Settings

Block Cookies on these sites:

www. google. co. uk

www. google. com

Allow Cookies on these sites:

accounts.google.com

This will enable users to log in to their google account and prevent the Before you begin message from being shown on www. google. co. uk
