Scifigirl Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 Has Anyone come across this error: SIMS connection failed for login, (user), Reason 0 we don't seem to be getting much help from our support on this one!!
jawebber Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 Are you using trusted authentication, and is it just one user? If so, check System Manager and check they're in there and set up correctly in 2 Login Details. 1
Scifigirl Posted October 13, 2020 Author Posted October 13, 2020 We think we found the error- the RDP server does not seem to be creating a profile for her- which seems to be causing an issue
dsmith8 Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 We think we found the error- the RDP server does not seem to be creating a profile for her- which seems to be causing an issue Hi MeadowGirl Think we have a similar issue where the RDS is not making profiles for a couple users. How did you get round it?
Scifigirl Posted October 21, 2020 Author Posted October 21, 2020 Hi Dsmith8 I am still working on getting this fixed, unfortunately. The user was using an old link to get to the RDP server - when she tried a fresh on-- it seemed to work though.
CHiLL Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 Does the user have their home folder/drive mapped? I've seen that error message when the drive mapping for the home folder hasn't applied for whatever reason. Usually it's when the user has plugged in a USB drive before logging in, and it takes the drive letter that we use for drive mapping and thus can't be mapped when the user logs on. If this is the case, then something like USBDLM would prevent that from happening. 1
