BlueSkies Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Hi, Is there a way to remove the "Contacts" app from the Google app launcher (just for our Pupil OU)? I have looked in the GSuite Core Apps list and in Additional Google services - but can't seem to see it anywhere. Our pupils don't have access to Gmail and our Senior Leadership team would prefer for the pupils not to be able to see a list of all the other pupils in the school directory. Is there a way to remove "Contacts"? Thanks
jthompson Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 I'm not sure why it's not listed under Apps, but if you use the search box in Google Admin you can get to Directory settings -> Visibility settings -> Student OU -> Set the Directory visibility option to No users. That won't hide the Contacts app, but they ought to then not be able to see anyone listed under the Directory part of that app. 2
