Anybody having issues viewing videos shared from Google drive?

Specifically, public videos that are being played back on Chrome or (New) edge.

 

old edge, firefox and explorer are all unaffected and can view the public videos.

 

 

oddly, i Can view the videos on Chrome and (new) Edge if i sign into my google account..........even though the vids are public.....

 

I've had to upload to youtube as a quick fix..... just wanted to know if it's just us.

Yep, it seems hit and miss on whether it works. For most people it is working but others they don't play although the same video will play on their iPad. Our work around is to download the video.

I noticed this over the past few months and have also been posting via YouTube as a workaround.
